Wildlife
Rehabilitation Center
The Wisconsin Humane
Society's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center annually
cares for more than 5,000 injured,
sick and orphaned wild animals of over 145 different
species. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate
and return them to the wild.
In addition to helping
animals in our wildlife hospital, we give humane
advice to people who have concerns about injured,
sick, orphaned or wild animals in human living environments. Read our expert
advice about wildlife.

Each year, millions of birds are injured or killed when they collide with windows. The migratory season is here and billions of birds are on the move. The chances of birds colliding with one of your windows is at an all-time high. There are many easy and economical things you can do to prevent birds in your back yard from becoming casualties. Lowering blinds, decorating with window clings and minimizing overnight lighting are just a few things you can do to prevent collisions at home and at work.
